Warner Bros Movie World is an amusement park which has a huge selection of rides all of which are based on the Warner Bros Movies and is a little bit of Hollywood on the Gold Coast.
For the real adrenalin junkies there is the Batwing Spaceshot which launches you to 60 metres and then lets you drop back down, the Superman Escape which is an extreme rollercoaster, Lethal Weapon – The Ride where you will be upside 5 times and Scooby Doo Spooky Corner which is an indoor rollercoaster where you’ll encounter ghouls and other scary characters amid some wonderful special effects.
Other exhilarating rides include the Wild West Falls, the Road Runner Rollercoaster and the Batman Adventure – The Ride 2 which takes you on a simulation through the streets of Gotham City.
All of your favourite Loony Tunes characters can be seen in the kids’ WB! Fun Zone area of the park. This is where you will find all of the rides for younger kids such as the Taz Hollywood Cars, the Yosemite Sam Railroad and Marvin the Martian’s Rocket Ride. The Loony Tunes River Ride and the Road Runner Rollercoaster are also in this area.
There are shows on throughout the day which change fairly regularly. You will be given a list of the show times as you enter the park. The All Star Parade is on every day on Main Street and this is a great opportunity for the kids to see all their favourite characters.
