Agnes Water Accommodation

There is a reasonable range of Agnes Water Accommodation especially given how small the town is.

If you are looking for a caravan park there are two main options. The Discovery Coast Caravan Park is located about 5km from Agnes Water and has large sites, wood BBQs and a swimming pool. It is in a lovely peaceful bushland setting and is close to the beach and to the Eurimbula National Park.

The 1770 Camping Grounds is a wonderful open park right on the beach on Captain Cook Drive in the Town of 1770. They have good amenities blocks, a camp kitchen and free BBQs. Some of the sites are beachfront. This is also about 5km from Agnes Water.

There are a few options of Agnes Water accommodation for backpackers.

Agnes Water Backpackers Hostels

The 1770 Backpackers hostel is at 3 Captain Cook Drive which is very handy for both the shops and the beach. It has a large kitchen which is very clean, good-sized dorm rooms and some private doubles and they provide free linen and towels. There are both outdoor and indoor areas to relax in and Internet is available.  They offer a good range of activities at very competitive prices such as surf lessons, kayaking and a scooteroo tour and free bus pick up and drop off.

The Beachside Backpacker 1770 at 12 Captain Cook Drive is also very near the shops and beach. It is relatively new, is quite small but does have plenty of space to relax in and has its own pool. There are 4, 6 and 8 bed dorms and some private double rooms all with ensuite facilities. They offer free bikes and they will collect you from the bus stop and drop you off when you are leaving.

The 1770 Southern Cross Backpackers is another backpackers option but is not very close to the beach. It is about 2 or 3km from the town and the beach but if you are looking for a quiet peaceful place in a lovely setting then this could be the right choice for you. They run a free bus into town which runs during the day but stops in the evenings. It is a very spacious place with 4 and 6 bed ensuite dorms located in cabins and some double rooms which are also ensuite and is very well equipped with a pool, wireless internet and many more facilities.

If you are looking for motel accommodation in Agnes Water then the Mango Tree Motel at 7 Agnes Street is a good option at a reasonable price. It is only 100m from the beach and is run by very friendly people. The rooms come with a queen sized bed, a set of bunk beds and sleep up to 6 people and some of them have small kitchenettes with cooking facilities. It has laundry facilities, a BBQ area, a small bottle shop and a restaurant attached to it.

If you are looking for more luxurious Agnes Water accommodation you could try the Mantra Pavillions Mirage on 1770 which are lovely apartments only a short walk from the beach but about 2km from Agnes Water town centre. The apartments are very spacious and have their own BBQ on the terrace as well as a shared BBQ area by one of the pools.  There are 2 pools in the resort but unfortunately there is no restaurant so you either need to cook in the apartment or go into Agnes Water to find a restaurant.

The Sandcastles 1770 Motel & Resort Agnes Water have 1 and 2 bedroom beach houses only 100m from the beach as well as some motel style rooms.
