It is also very near Roma Street Transit Centre where you will arrive if you are travelling to Brisbane by bus or train and only a short walk to Queens Street Mall and South Bank. The guest rooms are spacious and all have either a city or river view. They are equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, a hairdryer, an iron and ironing board and what may be the highlight for some people, a play station. The beds in the Brisbane Mercure Hotel are super comfortable and added to the range of pillows available do all they can to help you have a good night's sleep. The Quays restaurant is located within the hotel and is famous for its river views and excellent food such as the Seafood Buffet which includes baked fish, oysters and the local speciality of Moreton Bay bugs. The food is a bit expensive but the quality and the service are very good. There is a bar next door where you can relax with a drink and order a snack from the bar menu if you don't want to go in to the restaurant. There is high speed internet access throughout the hotel but it is a bit pricey. If you are looking to have a wedding or conference in the Brisbane Mercure Hotel it has rooms to cater for many different sizes of groups and the facilities are very good.
