The Holiday Inn Brisbane is a very comfortable 4 star hotel which is located right above the Roma Street Transit Centre making a great option for anyone arriving in Brisbane by train or even by plane as the Airtrain stops there. Roma Street Parklands are right next to it and this is a lovely place to relax or even take one of the twice daily guided walks which are run by volunteers and are very informative. Queens Street Mall is nearby if you want to go shopping and South Bank and the Cultural Centre is about a 10 or 15 minute walk away.

There are 13 floors and 192 guest rooms in the Brisbane Holiday Inn all of which were renovated in 2005. The rooms are all spacious and comfortable and some have beautiful views over Roma Street Parklands. All of the rooms have tea and coffee making facilities and cable TV and most have a small fridge. There is also a complimentary daily newspaper service.

MJ's restaurant is located on the 2nd floor of the hotel and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The buffet breakfast gets very good reviews and is a reasonable price with a good variety and quality of food. MJ's bar offers light snacks and is open daily from 11am till late. The actual closing time depends on which day of the week it is. If you prefer to eat in your room room service is good and food is very reasonably priced.

Other facilities that the Holiday Inn Brisbane has include a roof top gym, sauna and spa where you can relax and enjoy the views. If you prefer to use a larger gym you can get a discount pass for the nearby Fitness First gym. There is also a self-service laundry which is very useful if you have been travelling for a while. The hotel also has high speed internet access and a well equipped business centre.

Many of the public areas of this hotel were renovated in 2000.

The staff are very friendly and helpful and will try to solve any problems you have with travel plans.
