Brisbane Riverview HotelBrisbane Riverview Hotel Kingsford Smith Dr Hamilton QLD 4007, Australia The Brisbane Riverview Hotel is a 5 star hotel located in Hamilton near Portside and it is the most luxurious hotel near the airport. It is only 10 minutes from the airport making it great if you have an early flight but it is not an ideal choice of hotel if you want access to the city as it is a bit of a distance from the centre. There are a few tourist attractions near the hotel such as Newstead House, the famous Breakfast Creek Hotel and the Portside area with its selection of restaurants, bars and shops. There area 90 rooms in the hotel including 12 suites which all have a full size corner spa and the rooms either have views over the Brisbane River or of Albion Park Raceway. Facilities in the rooms include an iron and ironing board, a mini bar fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, a hairdryer and bathrobes. The hotel has two restaurants and a bar. The Charter Room opens for breakfast when you have the choice between buffet and a la carte. The Zig Zag Restaurant overlooks the Brisbane River and is open for lunch from Friday to Sunday and dinner every day. The food is modern Australian and international cuisine and is very good quality and can be accompanied by a bottle of Australian wide from their wide selection. If you simply want to relax with a drink in a peaceful setting why not try Chesters Bar in the hotel. For those of you who prefer to dine in your room there is 24 hour room service. This is not the most luxurious of 5 star hotels, possibly more like a 4 star but it has a large resort style pool set in lovely tropical garden, a spa and sauna and a gym for the more energetic clients. There is also a guest laundry which is useful if you are travelling for a while and the staff are very helpful and efficient.
